Plot
The film begins with a voiceover explaining the concept of marriage and how it has changed people's lives. Then, we are introduced to Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan (Kapil Sharma), a wealthy businessman who has a soft heart and cannot see anyone in trouble. He ends up marrying three different women Juhi (Manjari Fadnis), Anjali (Sai Lokur), and Simran (Simran Kaur Mundi) to prevent them from committing suicide. He keeps them in separate flats in the same building and makes excuses to spend one night with each wife. He also has a girlfriend, Deepika (Elli Avram), who he wants to marry with the consent of her father (Manoj Joshi).
On the advice of his friend, Karan (Varun Sharma), he manages to keep his wives unaware of each other. However, things get complicated when his estranged parents (Supriya Pathak and Sharat Saxena) reconcile and find out about his multiple marriages. They also learn that he is going to marry Deepika in court. Meanwhile, Deepika's father suspects Kumar of having affairs with other women and hires a detective, Tiger Bhai (Arbaaz Khan), to spy on him. Kumar and Karan face hilarious situations as they try to hide the truth from everyone.
Review
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is a typical Abbas-Mustan film that offers a mix of comedy, romance, suspense, and action. The film is inspired by several Hollywood and Bollywood movies, such as Bluffmaster!, No Entry, Runaway Bride, etc. The film relies heavily on Kapil Sharma's comic timing and screen presence, which he delivers with ease. He makes his Bollywood debut with this film and proves that he can carry a film on his shoulders. He also shows his versatility by playing different characters in the flashback scenes.
The supporting cast also does a decent job of adding humor and drama to the film. Arbaaz Khan plays the role of a bumbling detective who often gets into trouble with his boss (Jamie Lever). Varun Sharma plays the role of Kumar's loyal friend who helps him in his lies and schemes. Sai Lokur, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, and Elli Avram play the role of Kumar's wives and girlfriend respectively. They look beautiful and have good chemistry with Kapil Sharma.
The film has some drawbacks as well. The plot is predictable and unrealistic at times. The film also drags in the second half and could have been shorter by 15-20 minutes. The songs are average and do not add much value to the film. The climax is over-the-top and chaotic, but it also provides some laughs.
Verdict
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is a light-hearted comedy film that entertains the audience with its witty dialogues, funny situations, and Kapil Sharma's charm. It is not a masterpiece or a path-breaking film, but it is a decent one-time watch for those who enjoy comedy films.
